Talbot Lodge Nursing Home is managed and governed by a team of dedicated and committed members of staff who continually strive to raise standards of care.
The Registered Provider of Talbot Lodge is Jenny Walton (RGN, BNS). The Person in Charge is Mary O'Rourke (RGN).
We employ 74 people at Talbot Lodge. This is made up of management and nursing positions as well as care assistants, cleaning and maintenance staff and administration staff. We provide regular staff training across a range of relevant topics and encourage all our staff to increase their knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis.
Multi-Disciplinary Teams
We at Talbot Lodge are specialists in the care of older people, long term care, dementia care, psychiatry of old age and progressive and non-progressive conditions that may require specialist care.
Our nursing home is a member of the Talbot Group, an organisation which provides specialist residential and day care services across a variety of adult users. The Talbot Group employs a range of Health Care Professionals as listed below, all of whom provide care for Talbot Lodge residents when required:
- General Practitioner (GP)
- Nurses (both psychiatric and registered general nurses)
- Occupational therapists
- Physiotherapists
- Psychologists
- Psychiatrists
- Speech & language therapists
- Health care assistants.
The Talbot Group also has a range of support functions that span the entire organisation including General Management, Finance, Human Resources and Catering.
